The company was established by Hakim Mohammad Hasham at Bareilly,
India way back in 1794. It was due to the unique formulations coupled
with the inspiration and the vitality which the founder knew how to
transmit to all who were associated with him, in initiating and developing
an ever expanding activity which has resulted in bringing enviable
fame both to the company and its brand name “HASHMI” in
the entire subcontinent within a brief span of time. Under such guidance
and pursuing the aims clearly indicated by its founder, the business
passed down from generation to generation within the family replacing
conventional methods with the modern ones.
